This month, Candidates will explore morality as it pertains to our Catholic faith and teaching. We will read about prudence, virtue, and moral decision-making. We will recognize that we each have a conscience and must actively form it as we use it to guide our decisions. It is through the love and Grace of God, coupled with our own pursuit of knowledge of right and wrong and good and evil, that we can achieve this. Candidates are encouraged to commit themselves to learning why the guidelines and moral teachings of our Church exist.
Please read the assigned sections in the YouCat, read the additional article, and answer the Parent and Teen reflection prompts. Remember to bring a hard copy of the reflection responses to our Sealed. 2 Session 6 on Sunday, March 1, 2020 in O'Donnell Hall at 3:30pm. Teens are invited to come 10 minutes early to socialize prior to class.
